Who is invited? Any faculty, students, or postdocs who self-identify as being located in the Southeast US. There is limited capacity, so you are encouraged to register early to secure a spot.
What is the cost? There is a $25 registration fee to defray some of the costs. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging.
What is included in registration? The conference will provide: a reception dinner on November 14, breakfast and lunch on November 15, and light refreshments during the conference. The registration fee will help defray some of these costs, and includes Marta passes for transportation to and from the reception dinner on November 14.
Who are the speakers? Speaking slots are reserved for students only. Each faculty member who registers for the conference will be asked to list the name of a student speaker on the registration form. If the number of submitted names exceeds the number of available speaking slots (about 25), then they will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Faculty members who would like to send a student speaker but will not be attending the conference can contact the organizers directly to check on available speaking slots: Sam Coogan at sam.coogan@gatech.edu and Matthieu Bloch at matthieu.bloch@ece.gatech.edu
