2019 Southeast Controls Conference

November 14-15, 2019 at Georgia Tech

The inaugural Southeast Controls Conference will be hosted at Georgia Tech, November 14-15, 2019.

Generous support for this conference has been provided by the Georgia Tech Schools of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering.

Who is invited? Any faculty, students, or postdocs who self-identify as being located in the Southeast US. There is limited capacity, so you are encouraged to register early to secure a spot.

When and how long is the conference? The 1.5 day conference will take place 1pm November 14 to 5pm November 15.

What is the format of the conference? The conference is single-track and will consist of 20 minute talks from students, as well as several short plenary talks from nominated postdoctoral researchers.

Who are the speakers? Speaking slots are reserved for students only. Each faculty member who registers for the conference will be asked to list the name of a student speaker on the registration form. If the number of submitted names exceeds the number of available speaking slots (about 25), then they will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Faculty members who would like to send a student speaker but will not be attending the conference can contact the organizers directly to check on available speaking slots: Sam Coogan at sam.coogan@gatech.edu and Matthieu Bloch at matthieu.bloch@ece.gatech.edu

What is the cost? There is a $25 registration fee to defray some of the costs. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging. To register, please visit the registration page.
